Seventh-day Adventists keep Saturday as a day of rest and worship, from Friday evening to Saturday evening.
Adventiștii consideră că porunca a patra („Adu-ți aminte de ziua odihnei”) se referă la sâmbătă, ziua a șaptea. În timpul Sabatului nu se muncește; se merge la biserică, la Școala de Sabat (studiu biblic pe grupe) și se petrece timp în familie și în natură.
