Hacikarele („cruce-piatră”) se ridică în amintirea unor evenimente, a unor persoane sau la sfințirea unei biserici. Niciun hacikar nu seamănă cu altul. Arta lor este înscrisă de UNESCO în Patrimoniul cultural imaterial.
În curțile bisericilor armene din România (București, Gherla, Suceava, Iași, Constanța) pot fi văzute hacikare vechi și noi.
