La Sfeștanie, preotul sfințește apa și stropește cu ea încăperile, citind rugăciuni pentru binecuvântarea casei și a celor care locuiesc în ea. Se face la mutarea într-o casă nouă, la începutul anului școlar sau al unei afaceri.
