Cununia are două părți: logodna (cu schimbarea inelelor) și slujba cununiei. Momentul central este punerea cununiilor pe capul mirilor, ca semn al demnității și al jertfei. Mirii, cu nașii, merg de trei ori în jurul mesei, în timp ce se cântă „Isaie, dănțuiește”.
